Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cream butter, shortening & sugar until light & fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, which have been beaten until lemon colored, Combine flour & baking powder & add to creamed mixture alternating with milk. Stir in flavors.
  3. Spoon mixture into a greased 10 inch tube pan & bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hrs or until done.
  4. Cake tests done, and glaze if desired. An cool in pan about 10 min. before turning an rock to cool.

  1. Combine ingredients in heavy saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, stir until sugar is melted.
  3. Then pour over hot cake in pan. Let sit in pan, until cake is cool.
  4. Use enough glaze for 10 in tube pan.
