Japanese Fruit Pie
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 Cup Sugar
- 2 sticks Oleo (margarine)
- 1 Cup Pecans
- 1 Cup Raisins
- 1 Cup Coconut
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- dash Salt
- 1/2 tsp Vinegar
- 1 unbaked Pie shell
Directions
- Mix all the filling ingredients together.
- Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
- Bake at 325°F for about 25 minutes.
Notes
- The recipe calls for 'Oleo,' which is margarine. 2 sticks equals 1 cup.
- The 25-minute baking time is very short for this type of pie. Similar recipes for Japanese Fruit Pie typically bake for 40-60 minutes at a similar temperature.
