Mandarin-Walnut-Romaine Lettuce Salad

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Romaine lettuce
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1/2 bunch broccoli florets only
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup white wine vinegar (balsamic)
- 1 pkg. Ramen - chicken flavored
- 1/3 stick unsalted butter
- 1/3 bunch green onions
- 1/2 cup honey
- Salt & pepper
- Strawberries
- Mandarin oranges
Directions
- Mix together: Liquids: 1/2 c. olive oil, 1/2 c. honey & 1/3 c. vinegar and add onions and broccoli - use as marinade.
- Melt butter in cookie sheet, turn Ramen and walnuts over in this to coat and bake 12 minutes in 350 degree oven. Turn over at least twice while baking. Cool.
- Add to marinade and vegetables about 10 minutes before serving.
- Add strawberries and mandarin oranges in proportion to amount used. (I used 2 pints strawberries (cut in half) and 2 cans oranges.)
Notes
- Triple for a very large group (I fed 33 with 2 makings).
